Walk Elswout (blue)

Walking over the Buitenplaats Elswout (blue)

Elswout is one of the most beautiful and watery estates in Kennemerland. The famous series of the VPRO Loenatik is filmed here. The old buildings have been beautifully restored. The orangery is a catering establishment and open to the public on Sundays. It is built in neo-Renaissance style. The big house was built in different nineteenth-century styles. Initially the estate had the French landscape style, since the eighteenth century it has been decorated in English landscape style. In the park it is attractive to walk through the height differences and romantic bridges.

Trees at Elswout

In the 100 to 200 year old trees are many cave brothers. In addition, stinzen plants thrive here almost all year round, which means that large parts of the country estate, particularly in early spring, turn into a sea of flowers.
